A gentleman was walking on the treadmill when he realised his shoe lace had come undone. So without stopping the treadmill, he lifted his foot to do up his lace and then Bang! Ouch that has gotta hurt!

Do You Want More Web Traffic?

Wouldn’t we all! Here is a list of ways to help generate more traffic:

1. Create awesome content to justify going (and returning to your site) – this means keeping your site up to date!
2. Search engine optimisation – not sure what this is or means, we need to chat!
3. Publicity – regularly do press releases and get into the media
4. Get local people and industry leaders to sing your praise
5. Run contests – either on-line or have them print an entry that they need to bring into the club
6. Get links from other high traffic sites by writing for them or being interviewed
7. Use Pay-Per Click on Google – not sure how to do this, call me as I have the perfect solution
8. Engage in industry forums – Fitness Australia Group Site or Australian Fitness Network
9. Sponsor events and use your website as the call to action
10. Promote your website in every off-line strategy

Once you have people going to your site, you need to collect their data and begin marketing to them. They may not be ready to join today, so collect their information and keep in contact with them.

We already knew that but now a study proves it! A study at Penn State University in the USA examined the impact of moods on coming up with ideas. They divided participants into 2 groups – happy & sad! They found that happy participants came up with 50% more ideas than their glum counterparts!
