A great question and to be Irish let's answer it with a question or 4!
Do you struggle to find time to do staff training?
Is getting to seminars too hard?
Is staff training too expensive?
Do you have a computer? And a phone?
If you answered “Yes” to these questions, then now is the time to tap into the power of webinars. And here is why:

They are short and sharp – no more than 45 minutes.
You can do the webinar in your office in the quietest part of the day!
Access to some of the best presenters in the world on their area of expertise.
Webinars are a convenient way to learn! We have 3 webinars that happen every month! Check them out here.
The full benefits from LinkedIn
Many have asked me, why would I do LinkedIn. My explanation is simple: this is the professional’s version of Facebook. You can connect with key people that will help you progress your career. And here are some tips to ensure your profile is sharp!
Use keywords. People search LinkedIn in the same way they do in Google.
Give it some personality. Your LinkedIn profile should have personality. Add a photo for face recognition.
Don’t waste valuable real estate. In your professional headline section, don’t just put your position title, for example, marketing manager. A professional headline needs to be descriptive, persuasive and keyword-rich.
Your summary. This is where you tell your story. It can be up to 2000 characters long and include keywords. The longer it is, the better for keyword optimisation.
Get some recommendations. These are great for building credibility and giving potential clients or employers a glimpse of strengths and capabilities. Asking connections for a recommendation is encouraged.
At the business summit Dan Gregory was everything you look for in a key note speaker. He shared great stories and strategies to improve our marketing to compete with the Goliaths in our industry.
Is Your Website Working?
For your car to operate effectively, it needs regular maintenance. Not because technology has changed but general wear and tear. Well, your website needs a regular grease and oil change as things change!
I read recently that when consumers went to Google to look for information on plasma TVs and ended up at the manufacturer’s website they had links to TV models that were no longer being produced. How does that make them look?
I even had cause to look at my old club’s website. We sold this business 3 years ago and according to the site, we still own the business! How does this make the business look?
Website Maintenance, was defined on the Guerilla Marketing website last month as the art and science of keeping a website current in both technology and content; assuring proper functionality; confirming accuracy of copy; correcting broken links and images; and performing an overall assessment of the site to make sure it still reflects your company properly.
They went on to suggest some things you should check:
Any date sensitive content; for example an announcement of an upcoming event (after the date passes, it should no longer be "upcoming") or a deadline.
Functional elements of your website such as contact us forms, e-commerce and databases. You need to check these to make sure they are functioning properly.
External links (links to other sites) on your site. These often change and Google doesn’t like links that go no-where. Check each to make sure the site you are linking to is still live and that the link location is still correct.
Review all of the pages on your site. Check all of the links in the navigation bar(s), make sure the structural elements appear correctly on all pages.
Check for images which are not displaying correctly or the dreaded "red x".
If you need help with reviewing your website, this is a service we now offer. It is just $880 and we analyse your Google Analytics, check images for tags, check meta-descriptions, check on inbound and outbound links and provide a list of suggestions to improve your site!
This month, e-Marketer shared some very interesting information: “Companies that post content on their Facebook pages outside normal business hours see engagement rates that are 20% higher than average, according to new data from Facebook marketing software company Buddy Media.”
Buddy Media found that 60% of posts were published between 10am and 4pm.
Many Facebook users prefer to log on to the site before or after work, therefore this was when they felt more comfortable to engage.
Additionally, the study found that engagement rates are 18% higher on Thursday and Friday than the other days of the week.
By timing your content posting to when people are more likely to be on Facebook, companies have a greater chance of being seen in a fan’s newsfeed.
Buddy Media also found that the shorter the post the better! Posts with 80 characters or less have a 27% higher engagement rate.
Additionally, some words encourage engagement, particularly those that are instructions such as “like,” “post,” “take” and “comment,” as does asking a question at the end of a post.

Justin will share the keys numbers that are caompared by REX Round Tables from around the world. Many business owners wonder “What happened” when something either good or bad happens in their business. If we have a firm idea of our numbers then we never ask that question – we know! This session will explain what ‘managing the gap’ means in regard to numbers. And more importantly share the key performance indicators you should be aiming for in your fitness business.
