About the role:
You’ll have autonomy to structure your own day to meet key deliverables. You’ll be supported by an experienced clinical team! Together you’ll deliver patient centred, evidence-based care in an environment that promotes continuous improvement, bringing the values and ethics of HammondCare and ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia) to life in the community!
Duties:
• Provision of high-quality Exercise Physiology services and interventions in our client’s homes
• Supervise and deliver group-based Exercise programs
• Enjoy a varied case load covering a diverse range of clients, including Musculoskeletal, Respiratory/Pulmonary, Cardiovascular, Metabolic, Neurological, Mental Health and Chronic Disease Management
• These roles are located in the South East Sydney Region with the office located in Miranda, NSW and the South West Sydney Region with the office located in Hammondville, NSW.
Skills and experience:
• Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
• A tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
• Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Accreditation
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in providing Exercise Physiology services in a Rehabilitation and / or Aged Care setting
• Demonstrated experience delivering Exercise in group settings and home-based exercise programs.
• A valid drivers’ license, safe driving record and access to a reliable motor vehicle
• High level computer literacy, Microsoft Office and Clinical systems i.e. ComCare (desirable not essential)
