The Role:

Reporting to the National Fitness & Member Experience Manager (NFMXM), this PT and Club-focused role is responsible for the training, education, and development of fitness-related strategies for Anytime Fitness. You will engage and retain the fitness club teams and deliver quality onboarding, training, and coaching programs across the network to provide a consistent world-class member experience.

Day to day will include:

Fitness Training & Education

  • Coordinate, implement, and deliver Fitness based education across the network to assist with the management, retention, and ongoing support of personal trainers.
  • Provide regional support to assist in growing the total volume of Personal Training sessions (In club and online).
  • Assist the National Fitness Manager in delivering induction and onboarding workshops to Personal Trainers and club staff to improve technical skills, session delivery, and member experience initiatives.
  • Continually review the quality and delivery of Anytime Fitness Australia fitness products by regular class/session reviews and fitness evaluations as required to improve retention and member experience.
  • Assist Club Staff / Franchisees in driving key fitness performance-based metrics.
  • Coordinate, support and manage the PT Vitals program to develop and grow new and existing Personal Trainers/coaches.
  • Build content, execute partnerships and drive engagement and uptake of our online training platform, Ignite.
  • Analyse and collaborate with the NFMXM on fitness training gaps according to needs identified within the business.
  • Implement and/or manage Fitness and Member Experience related initiatives that look to increase the LTV (life-time value) of our members, through an increased secondary spend or increased length of stay.

Member Experience

  • Assist the NFMXM in developing member experience strategies and processes throughout the entire member journey to maximise attendance/engagement/value and achieve business retention objectives.
  • Provide support to Franchisees and Club Staff to ensure all member experience initiatives, and projects are executed.
  • Work with Regional Performance Coaches to drive member initiatives across their regions.
  • Drive an increase in LTV for Anytime Fitness Members, through product implementation, secondary revenue initiatives, and improving member length of stay.
  • Assist with and/or manage relations with external businesses as required to deliver on contractual obligations or business directives relating to Fitness or Member experience-related objectives.

Other

  • Demonstrate commitment to living the Collective Wellness Group values (Own It, See It, Feel It, Do It, Together)
  • Provide support to Franchisees as required to train, coach, and develop their teams.
  • The National Fitness Educator may be required to perform such other duties as directed by the NFMXM from time to time.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3 + years of Fitness Industry Management experience highly regarded i.e. Personal Training, Group Fitness, and Coaching
  • Effective and motivating coaching expertise
  • 2 + years multi-site fitness industry experience
  • Multi-site club/studio management
  • Delivery of training programs
  • Build and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work independently and prioritise your time efficiently and effectively
  • Communicate effectively and have confidence in presenting to stakeholders/public
  • Manage conflict and negotiate win/win outcomes
  • Cert IV/Diploma in Fitness (Personal Training/Group Exercise) or Bachelors’ degree (Exercise Science etc)
  • Other relevant fitness qualifications such as specialty programs (TRX, Yoga, S&C)
  • Current First Aid and CPR
