About the role

As a key member of the Leadership team, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for facility membership and swim school sales activity management, and to lead, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales and retention targets.

Working closely with the Customer Experience Coordinator and the Aquatics Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for the sales team that work across two facilities, Dandenong Oasis and Noble Park Aquatic Centre.

This role will also be responsible for imbedding sales processes that drive membership growth and fosters a culture where achieving sales targets are celebrated, whilst prioritising high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities and Specialist Skills

  • Responsible for leading the sales team across multiple locations
  • Implement sales strategies and processes for enquiry management, membership acquisition and membership retention.
  • Implementation of a Sales System/Platform that improves efficiency of the sales team and improves conversion rates.
  • Enquiry management from various communication channels, including Social Media
  • Self-motivated and driven to exceed targets, and also the ability to set and drive a team towards KPIs.
  • Execute sales strategies for generation and conversion of new leads.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to the sales team.
  • Provision of timely monthly reporting and assist with year-end procedures, including budget development and monitoring
  • Develop, market, and promote campaigns and programs
  • Develop relationships with local businesses, clubs, organisations and corporate groups
  • Staff management i.e., rostering, development, coaching, recruitment
  • Staff team qualification management
  • Lead and promote a positive safety culture
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales team Leadership role
  • High level computer literacy
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Working with Children Check
