The Organization:
Fernwood Fitness is the ALL FEMALE health and wellness facility that more than 70,000 women across Australia love. We first opened our doors in Bendigo – Victoria, more than 30 years ago. Since then, Fernwood has grown to over 70 clubs nationwide. And is now considered the leading expert in women’s health, fitness and wellness in the country.
Fernwood Hornsby:
Has been under new ownership for the last 12 months. We are in the middle of an exciting refinement and restructure phase. There are many fresh changes being made, so this is a very opportune time to join us.
The Role:
This is a permanent full-time position, working alongside the Club Coordinator and reporting directly to the Franchisee. You’ll drive & lead the sales team to achieve targets and build relationships in the community. It’s about planning and directing sales activities to ensure club growth and total member satisfaction.
We are looking for a female who:
- Preferably has experience in the Health & Fitness Industry – or
- Has experience in a retail sector where KPI’s are paramount.
- Is crazy-passionate about women’s health, fitness, and wellness.
- Has experience in the complete sales management process.
- Can think outside the box for sales campaign and growth strategies.
- Has excellent time and project management skills.
- Is an effective listener, planner, problem solver and influencer.
- Has customer satisfaction in the forefront of mind
Key accountabilities of the role include:
- Drive, lead and train the sales team with a full ‘hands on’ approach.
- Achieving KPIs related to membership growth, club visits, retention and overall profitability.
- Develop new promotions, sales and lead generation strategies.
- Developing new growth opportunities in the business, retail and residential communities.
- Building long term sustainable internal and external relationships.
- Financial responsibility and accountability including cost management for expenses
