Privileged To Be Part Of The IHRSA Institute
Do you ever pinch yourself to make sure life is real?
This morning I was beating jet lag and running though the sites of Washington DC, USA and thinking how lucky I am!
I am in the US to speak at the IHRSA Institute.
I cannot remember the exact year but I attended the Institute over a decade ago and loved it. It was one of the most influential learning experiences for me.
This morning it dawned on me that I am speaking at this wonderful event.
As a speaker, you judge your success on where you speak. I always feel honoured to speak at the March IHRSA Conference and last year to speak at the IHRSA European Congress was an amazing opportunity.
The IHRSA Institute is one of the greatest honours I have ever received and I am very grateful for the opportunity. I think I am the third Aussie to present after Grant Gamble and Paul Brown.
I am feeling overwhelmed and under pressure – lots of preparation!
My topic is Sales Management but I changed the topic to Creating the Best Environment for your Sales Team to Succeed. I thought it had a better ring to it – what do you think?
